Homemade Butter!!
With just one ingredient, the world is your oyster!!! never buy butter from the store ever again!
Equipment
- stand mixer
Ingredients
- 16 oz Heavy Whipping Cream
Instructions
- pour the heavy whipping cream into the stand mixer using the whisk attachment
- set mixer to medium speed (i used level 4 on my kitchen aid)
- let it mix for approximately 20 minutes until you see butter in the whisk and a milk in the bowl. pay attention towards the end because the milk started splashing everywhere for me
- strain the milk and save to make biscuits, pancakes, ranch dressing, cookies....etc!
- form your butter into a ball and place in an ice bath to remove any remaining butter milk
- once clean, add salt and mix well
- place in a bowl or a silicone mold and refrigerate until use!
